DNA Distribution Kits
DNA distribution kits have been sent to all approved teams! The kits contain over 1000 parts which you can use for your system. For more information about the distribution kit, click here. If there are additional parts you'd like to use in the system, but that are not included in the kit, you can always request parts at no cost. |
Project descriptions
Project descriptions will be due next Friday March 7! This is a preliminary description of the project the team hopes to work on this year, and will not be used to judge your project. The description should be posted on the main page of your team wiki and also emailed to kitwa (at) igem (dot) org. Be sure to check out the full Calendar of Events for other important upcoming dates! |

3A Assembly Kits and Transformation Efficiency Kits will be sent soon to all approved high school teams! Each approved team will be contacted individually to coordinate a delivery window for their kit, since the kits contain some materials that will need to be stored at 4°C, or even -20°C. If you have not completed all the registration requirements yet, be sure to submit any remaining materials as soon as possible, so your team can get a kit! |

user accounts
After your team has registered, sign up for a user account on igem.org to have full access to the iGEM Registry of Standard Biological Parts resources, as well as team wiki access! You can sign up for a user account by clicking on "Log in" in the upper right corner of any page on igem.org. You can then join an existing high school team. Be sure to turn in your consent form, so your user account can be approved, and remind your teammates to also sign up for user accounts! |
