Lambert iGEM Safety

Team members were trained in appropriate techniques for dealing with cell culture, recombinant DNA, and general lab safety.
Lab procedures were carried out under the supervision of the instructors.
Experiments with recombinant DNA were completed under the advisement of Dr. Mark Styczynski from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Chemical wastes were treated and disposed of in accordance with their respective MSDS. All living cultures and biohazardous wastes were appropriately sterilized before disposal.
