Benjamin Franklin stated after the establishment of the Constitution, “Nothing can be said to be certain, except, death and taxes.” Though he certainly does seems right about the latter, we challenge the former: can natural human death be controlled? This year, we have chosen to tackle one essential aspect of this question: the regulation of telomere length.
