<p>Organisms on earth use solar energy to produce organics, thereby accumulating energy. However, the process is slow and inefficient. We are designing a bacterium harnessing solar energy to produce hydrogen in order to improve the utilization of the former. The specific pathway is still in abeyance, but it might be the indirect biophotolysis. We will also design an apparatus, sustaining our bacteria, collecting hydrogen and supplying necessary materials like water.</p>
