Presentation and poster guidelines

If you're a Virtual Jamboree participant, be sure to check out the Virtual Jamboree page for information on what you'll need to submit!

At the Jamboree, each team (virtual or on-site) will have 20 minutes to present. Teams are allotted 30 minutes in the schedule: 5 minutes to set up their computer and any other presentation materials, 20 minutes for presentation, and 5 minutes for Q & A from the judges and other attendees. Teams can continue working on their project after the wiki freeze on June 20, and can include new information/data in their presentation and poster.

There will be a poster session in the afternoon of the Jamboree. Each team is asked to make a poster of their project (you can also include any work you did outside of the lab also, such as outreach, etc.). There are no specific content requirements for the poster, but you probably want to include standard science-project sections on the poster (title, abstract, data, etc.). There is a size restriction of 4 feet x 4 feet (or 121cm x 121cm).

You can also look at posters and presentation slides from previous teams for ideas: Results page. We will be asking for PDF copies of your team's poster and presentation slides to preserve your team's hard work, and also to serve as resources for future teams!
