Did the competent cell procedure using the guidelines that Lauren and John used on 4/18 (written down a few pages and back)
Transformation of the cells from this morning: Followed the IGEM manual, except for when the SOC media ran out and was substituted for luria broth instead, and only the new part (ligation) was made, and not the transformation control or ligation control.
It was supposed to be taken out of the incubator at 4:35, but was not until 5:00
