Plan
The conference
BIT's 5th World DNA and Genome Day is held from April 25 to 28, 2014 in Dalian, Liaoning Province in North China, during which there will be a lot of professors and scholars talking about academic foreland. There are 10 Nobel Prize winners in Physiology or Medicine, Chemistry and Physics.
Our goal
Our project is to make an E. coli Plant-sitter. As it is impossible for us to demonstrate our product at the conference because we had not finished the Plant-sitter, we just want to show our idea and introduce the iGEM competition to others.
Preparation
The Human Practice group made two posters with coloured paper by hands to introduce our project. One poster is in English while the other one is in Chinese. The HP group spent two evening on it, and they didn't finish until the night before Zhang and Pan left. They wrote words on paper of different colours and then cut them off. Aslo, they printed some photos to embellish the poster.
