The St. Mark's School of Texas iGEM Team has been actively promoting the field of biotechnology. This year, the team released many tutorial videos for the basic protocols to help newer teams learn the basics of biotechnology. In addition, the team has also been working with agencies such as Brendan Court, a four-week, tuition-free enrichment program for middle school boys. The team has educated the boys in the Brendan Court program the harmful effects of lung cancer and how bio-engineering can help solve this problem.
