The work of the Applied Research Committee has worked to turn the ideas of the Fundamental Research Committee into reality. We worked to perfect the 3A Assembly and later used this experience to use in the incorporation of our basic ideas into a practical lung cancer VOC detection device. We also worked with the Fundamental Research Committee to research genes that would be indicators of the presence of these VOCs. This committee has been very multifaceted, with the members taking up various aspects of our project and working to accomplish them.
