Project
What are you working on this semester?
Idenfication of genes that have various multi-drug registance.
Multi drug resistant germs have resitance genes and the genes have reistance to multi drugs. Thus the genes are not been eliminated by antibiotics and grow to an extent that various disease can be caused. Our primary objective is to identify multi drug resistant genes out of germs that have multi drug resistance.
Planned experiment:
In order to find out multi drug resitance to MRSA (Methicillin- Resistant Straphylococcus Aureus) we will conduct experiments that are treated with five antibiotics (Ampicillin, Gentamycin, Kanamycin, Tetracycline, Rifampicin) in different density levels. Through the experiments, growth of MRSA genes can be observed.
Observe that MRSA genes with multi-drug resistance are transformed and confirm which multi drug resitance features are moved.
Primer are manufactured and identify genes that have multi drug resistance from MRSA germs.
